What is the meaning of Aviation Law? 

According to RODRÍGUEZ JURADO, author of the work “Introduction to Aeronautical Law”, Aeronautical Law, also called Aviation Law, is the set of principles and norms, of Public and Private Law, of national and international order, which govern the institutions and legal relations born from the aeronautical activity or modified by it.

Due to its connection with Public International Law, among the various branches of this legal discipline, Air Law is the most dynamic and universalist of all, and often overcomes the barriers of the legal concepts of territoriality and extraterritoriality in order to accompany the constant changes that occur in the technologies applied to civil aviation, which, therefore, influence the working relationships related to it.

Thus, Air Law deals with the legal relations related to air navigation, national and international air transport and civil aviation in general, as well as the labor relations directly related to them, since it regulates the activities and policies adopted by the States or Countries, through their public and private companies and international intergovernmental organizations regarding the operation of international air transport in order to establish the same legal regime.
